Supported by Youth in Action Program
AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING
The theme of our training course was the fight against discrimination, the care for the other, through the means of volunteering.
Project’s purpose was to improve the participants’ ability to find, either alone, or together with the others,
new and creative ways of actively engaging in
voluntary activities which could lead to diminishing discrimination, racism, violence and social exclusion.
Participants of the Training course were young vlounteers, youth workers from different counties who work in the field of social work,
for unemployed people who wish to learn how to use their free time with social activities,
or for those who are just willing to start their voluntary activities, especially in the field of fighting against discrimination of any kind.
During this week the participants participated in lot of debates, simulation games, intercultural activities, had opportunity to visit local Volunteering organisations,
and of course have a lot of fun and experience Romanian culture & traditions.
