TRAINING COURSE "VIVA VOLUNTEERS"

The TC involved participants  from Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, FYROM, Georgia,
Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Spain, Turkey
 .
The main aim of the project was  to explore and share how to get the highest impact and visibility
of  projects in and through volunteering, to get a better understanding on intercultural learning
and the value of volunteering.
During the  seven day training course  the  participants had opportunity to share with each other
their own experiences, to exchange ideas, to develop competences to plan, implement and evaluate
intercultural projects with high impact and visibility.
We had discussions, role games, video shooting, international evenings
as well as sessions about  Youth in Action Program and project management.

TC PR methods, skills, tools for a modern NGO,

28 SEP-06 OCT,2012,Warsaw , Poland


The training course with participants from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Macedonia, Poland, Romania,
Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine.
The main aim of the project was to train NGO employees/volunteers and project managers
how to build and maintain positive and cooperative relationship with the public
and also how to create a positive environment using PR methods to promote solutions
for social inclusion of marginalized groups. 
We had different sessions about Public Speaking, Press Release, discussions,
games, Youth in Action session, as well as lot of fun.

TRAINING COURSE "Solidarity Openness
Understanding Liberty Creating European S.O.U.L."

05-13 Sept, 2012, Cyprus 


The project idea was to give the right and necessary
space to young people for a wide exchange of different visions,
approaches,exper
iences and intercultural backgrounds and
to explore the volunteering as tool to let them come out
with concrete actions for making their vision on what has
to be done for addressing the poverty and marginalization
at different levels reality.

It took place in Cyprus, Agros and involved 26 participants
coming from Armenia, Albania, Italy, Spain, Hungary,
Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Serbia, Macedonia.
The week was full of activities: discussions, forum theater,
exploring the concept of volunteering,
session about Youth in Action Program, session about Youth Pass, International Evenings.
Trips to Aphrodite's rock, Limassol and Nicosia.
Open air barbeque with locals and lot of party and fun!

EVA PEACE ACADEMY 2012

took place in Dresden,Germany from May24-28,2012.
Around 300 international participants arrived in Dresden
to participate in the Academy. Among them was the
Armenian delegation representing
"Youth for Exchange and Co
operation".
It was a very colorful event. We had lot of activities:
discussions about peace,workshops, writing with famous
artists the EVA song about peace,and later performing in the Frauenkirche, Dresden.
There many concerts, music, dances, games and of course discovering the amazing
city of Dresden!!!

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

COMMUNICATING GENDER: GENDER IDENTITIES

IN A GLOBALISED EUROPE


24-28 October, Logumkloster, Denmark

organised by WSCF -Europe                                   






35 young people from different European countries


 gathered in the folk high school in


 Løgumkloster, Denmark, to



 discuss the qustions concerning  gender identities and


how faith is influenced by gender  and how gender is influenced by faith;


how  
gender changes when borders are crossed and when we enter the 


virtual world.


We had lot of intersting workshops,  lectures,
group works

and discussions
 .
                                                    

                          


We also had international evening presenting


different cultures and  countries, and each evening was ending up 


with denominational prayer .

TRAINING COURSE " CREATIVE ENTERPRENEURSHIP"


OCTOBER  08-14, 2011, Agros , Cyprus


Funded by Youth in Action Program, Action 3.1


  The objectives and aims of the TC were:


 * To increase the self-esteem of  young people,

   
    to stre
ngthen team-building, facilitation,


    communication, intercultural competence and creative


   thinking skills.


    During the week we had lot of  discussions,


    interactive sessions, ice breaking games.


   The group was composed of the representatives of 14 countries.


   We also had  wonderfull opporutnity to present our countires,

   and a piece of our culture during the intercultural nights.

   And  of course  we had lots of fun and partys together, great excursion to Limassol,

Training Course CARE THROUGH VOLUNTEERING

 AUG 20-29, 2011 , CLuj Napoca, Romania

AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE TRAINING


The theme of our training course was the fight against discrimination, the care for the other,


 through the means of volunteering.

 

Project’s purpose was to improve the participants’ ability to find, either alone, or together


with the others, new and creative ways of actively engaging in voluntary


activities which could lead to diminishing discrimination, racism,
violence


and social exclusion.
 



Participants of the Training course were young vlounteers, youth workers from different


countries who
 work in the field of social work, for unemployed people who wish to learn


how to use their free time with social activities,  or for those who are just willing


to start their voluntary activities, especially in the field of fighting against


discrimination of any kind.

  
During this week the participants participated in lot of debates, simulation games,


intercultural activities, 
had opportunity to visit local Volunteering organisations,


and of course have a lot of fun and experience 
Romanian  culture & traditions.
